Hi everybody,

I麓m an English student and I need your help to know if this text are right or I made mistakes.

Thanks in advance from Spain.

I think when a baby鈥檚 going to be born, its鈥檚 a great event which is going to change people鈥檚 life. Future parents are really excited about a new very little thing is going to be part of their life. So these parents daydream about what their baby will be like and about his or her physical appearance. But in the end all they want is their baby can be born without problems.

A long time ago, I knew a very young woman who tought those same things when she was expecting her first baby, a baby girl. She felt very happy getting all things ready for her future child. She vas very much looking forward to holding her only human dolly in her arms and also play with her.

The great day came and the new young mum, looking at her newborn baby, felt her dream had come true. But the following day a doctor had some bad news for her: Her dolly was broken. The birth had been difficult and baby鈥檚 brain was damaged because of a cerebral haemorrhage. That meant her baby had problems to move the right part of her little body and when she grew up, she couldn鈥檛 do some activities very well such as walking, running or jumping. Even she couldn麓t be good at writing, drawing, getting dressed or eating by herself. So the happiness turned into tears. The rest of the family were also very dismayed at the news.

At first it was very hard but the young mother decided to fight for her baby and stopped crying. She only wanted her baby to be as the rest of the children that she saw in the street, why not? So she left to be a posh girl and did an act of faith to get it. She left her job and took her baby to the best neurologist. The rehabilitation centre was very far away from her village to go there everyday so a physiotherapist taught her some excersices to do at home.

She worked very hard everyday and when the baby was 17 moths, she stood up and started taking her first steps. Mother and daughter also used to go to the swimmingpool very often because doing excersises into the water was very good for the baby. Although very slowly, the baby began to be a little better. When her daughter was 3 years old, the doctors told her they couldn鈥檛 do anything else for her child but she didn鈥檛 lose heart and went on with her plans for her daugther.

It was especially hard when the child had to go to school because she wrote and drew very slowly and she never finished her works or excercises in due course. On the other hand the other children didn麓t want to play with her because she could hardly run or jump. Even her teachers said that child never finished her primary education. But her mother didn麓t give up. So everyday, when mother and dauther got home in the afternoon, after having something, the young mother tryed to teach her daugther to write some numbers and letters, draw circles and squares and also colour some drawings in. One day it took the child four hours to draw five lines of circles! That was the worst part of all it because the child wanted to play, go to the park or watch some programmes for children on TV but her mother didn鈥檛 agree with her to do those things. But a least, they also had a lot of fun together.

When her sister was born, it was a very positive thing. At first she was jelous but her little sister was a naughty kid and she felt obliged to follow her sister everywhere. As fast as the child grew up, her mother enrolled her for dance, English and typing lessons. It was an arduous work for long twelve years but finally the child was as the rest of the children. Well, she was a bit clumsy but also a independent child to do the basic things.

Both of them spend so time together that their relationship was very special and they were very close. The child learnt to be very hardworking, responsible, tydi, organized and willing to help other people with problems. Her mother learnt to be pacient and imaginative because she knew perfectly if she got exasperated or if she didn麓t do or say fun things her daughter didn鈥檛 pay attention. She also learnt not to be afraid of problems and that her daughter was the dolly she had always dreamt. Both of them learnt there were no negative things but negative attitudes and that the most inportant thing was their daily work and attempt to achieve their own goals, It didn麓t matter if it took them long, if it was difficult or if they didn麓t get it because they could always learn new things.
